  • Employee relations: Manage conflict resolution and employee relations.
  • Contract management: Manage contracts with service providers.
  • Orientation and exit programs: Oversee onboarding and exit processes.
  • Representation: Represent the company at the CCMA.
Qualification and Requirements (Minimum):
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management.
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in HR or related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Advanced level).
  • Proficiency in HR analytics and dashboards for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Payroll Software (e.g., PaySpace).

    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource operations and ensure they are aligned with our business goals. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing HR strategies, implementing policies, and overseeing all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process
    • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
    • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
    • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
    • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
    • Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
    • Maintain HR records and documentation in line with legal and organizational requirements

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred)
    • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role (typically 5+ years)
    • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
    • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
    • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Strong understanding of labor law and HR best practices
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
