B.Sc. Geology degree
MSc (Mineral Resource Management) will be an added advantage
Proficient user of Geological software (Minex will be advantage)
+4 years Mining Geology Experience
Experience in exploration drilling
Understanding of applicable legislative compliance
Valid Driver's Licence
Between 5 - 7 Years

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in enforcing safety policies, conducting audits, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and enforce company safety policies on site.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
Review and approve subcontractor safety files.
Deliver HSE training to site staff and ensure legislative compliance (OSHACT).
Prepare risk assessments and method statements as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an HSE Officer within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Ability to write reports and policies, and analyze data.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Education:
Grade 12 / Matric
Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
BSc/BA in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Professional Registration: SACPCMP
