Duties & ResponsibilitiesPURPOSE: This position exists to assist the site manager to ensure the efficient operation of the plant against set objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- SAFETY:
- Maintain FAMP safety policy and procedure requirements.
- Promote safety performance.
- Do planned task observations.
- Conduct safety meetings.
- Ensure team members wear PPE.
- Ensures production targets are met.
- Monitors plant performance to obtain optimum production.
- Advise on requirements of process spares.
- Train and develop team members. Maintain discipline in the plant.
- Completes all reports regarding safety, production, personnel, quality control, and maintenance.
- Completes required ISO documents.
- Maintaining staff training records.
- Ensure disciplinary records are up to date.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12/N3
- COMPSOC
- SAMTRAC or equivalent
- Diploma in Safety Management would be an advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years' experience in mining/construction as Plant attendant/Junior plant operator/Plant operator.
