Responsibilities:
Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and impact on daily occupations, well-being, and quality of life.
Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results. Developing personalized treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
Assess client’s home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities.
Provide recommendations for home modifications and adaptive equipment with training as needed. Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.
Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate withIDT collaboration.
Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is provided.
Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.
Complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures.
Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
Requirements:
Active/Valid Texas license in Occupational Therapy In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
Current knowledge of treatment practices Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paediatric Physiotherapy Band 6 position based from Inverness.
The Post Holder Will
Provide an efficient and effective, community based, Physiotherapy service to children and young people on their personal caseload, in the most appropriate location e.g., home, clinic, nursery, school either virtually or in person. This post will involve travel across the region. This will necessitate working closely and collaboratively with the child/young person, parents/carers, and colleagues from within the umbrella of Health and Social Care within Highland Council and NHS.
Take an active part in skill sharing both virtually and in person with children and young people, parents and carers, education staff, colleagues and other partners to the team around the child/young person.
Critical appraisal, audit and research techniques should be used to ensure the service is underpinned by the principles of clinical effectiveness.
Take an active part in developing the service, which will include having a key role of learning and skill sharing, with the remit of informing and supporting the other members of the Children’s Physiotherapy Team and in the provision and ongoing development of this agreed element of the service.

- Provides in-service to staff regarding treatment materials and techniques.
- Supervises practicum students as requested.

- Assures current technology used with clients.

Davis School District is accepting applications for Speech-Language Pathologists for the school year. GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Related Services Director, the Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, determining eligibility, and providing appropriate supplementary aids and services to assigned students, according to Federal and State guidelines. Salary: within District guidelines on Table 1 Essential Job Functions: 1. Administers, scores, and interprets formal and informal speech and language tests including, but not limited to, standardized norm-referenced speech and language tests which are appropriate in determining eligibility for special education services and providing diagnostic information for educational programming. 2. Develops/adapts, administers, scores, and interprets curriculum-based assessments in making educational program decisions. 3. Observes, records, analyzes, and summarizes the speech and language behavior of students referred for evaluation or otherwise indicated as requiring such, in the regular classroom setting and other settings as appropriate. 4. Coordinates, administers, scores, and interprets audiological hearing screenings for schools and communicates the results to appropriate people and agencies. 5. Develops an IEP in collaboration with other multidisciplinary team members, for each qualifying student utilizing information obtained from the completed assessment battery. 6. Develops appropriate lesson plans consistent with the IEP goals and objectives, following a specified plan. 7. Delivers specially designed instruction consistent with the IEP and tiered educational (academic and social) supports, as appropriate, that are aligned with the students needs. 8. Utilizes a system for ongoing maintenance of individual and student progress data for complying with local, state, and federal requirements. 9. Maintains classroom organization and discipline. 10. Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve a functional productive learning atmosphere. 11. Utilizes computers and other technological support equipment in assisting students with instruction. 12. Provides and maintains a safe and supervised environment in the therapy setting. 13. Evaluates student growth, keeping accurate records and preparing periodic progress reports to be shared with parents, other staff members, and appropriate medical personnel. 14. Communicates with parents on an ongoing basis through conferences and other means discussing progress and defining and refining individual goals. 15. Communicates, cooperates, and collaborates with other professional staff, in academic, social, and personal growth areas. 16. Supervises Speech-Language Technicians as outlined in the USBE SLT Handbook. 17. Maintains supervising competencies consistent with the USBE SLT Handbook. 18. Demonstrates adherence to the professional Code of Ethics as outlines by the Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission. Minimum Requirements: 1. Masters Degree in the area of speech-language pathology or equivalent from an accredited college or university. 2. Valid professional educator license for the State of Utah with a Speech-Language Pathologist area of concentration. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Strong oral and written communication skills. 2. Strong computer and educational technological skills. 3. Ability to work independently with little direct supervision. 4. Ability to work as part of a team. 5. Ability to establish and maintain a positive learning environment and handle student management issues in a calm manner. 6. Ability to deliver effective speech-language pathology services. ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Therapy Group Practice at Nurture Alberton in Gauteng is looking for a Physiotherapist to join their team. Nurture Health provides medical care, and acute and sub-acute rehabilitation treatment for people with a wide range of disabilities caused by disease or injuries. These include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurological disorders, orthopaedic conditions, and other debilitating conditions and illnesses. Our organisation helps people who have become physically or cognitively impaired with the means to lead meaningful lives, regardless of any disability they may have acquired or circumstances they are returning to.
REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current HPSCA registration and malpractice insurance
- Up to date CPD status
- >5 years’ experience in a rehabilitation environment
- Special interest / expertise within neurology and orthopaedics
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Provide physiotherapy interventions to patients referred to the facility.
- Determine clinical diagnosis and provide physiotherapy treatment plan indicated as an autonomous practitioner.
- Diagnosis, assessment and management of people with disabling conditions on an in-patient and out-patient basis.
- Develop appropriate packages of care, giving clinical and professional advice to patients, Carers and other healthcare professionals.
- Responsible for physiotherapy treatment.
- To be a source of expertise and advice for support staff.
- Available to work on a weekend / public holiday on rotation.
Minimum Salary: R29399,95 CTC (including benefits)
