As a Supervisor Maintenance, you will be responsible for the execution of work, inspections, and observations in a safe and sustainable manner by coordinating all the installation, maintenance, and repair work on the Surface Ore Processing Plant;

Leading of a team of artisans to ensure the effective execution of breakdown, unplanned and planned maintenance work

ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Must have maximum of 5 years' experience in maintenance, of which at least 2 years of supervisory experience for external candidates;
Have sound knowledge of crushing & screening plants & load-out stations;
Experience on Metso Cone Crushers and hydraulic systems is advantageous
Experience on CAT R1600 or CAT R1700 or CAT AD30 maintenance is advantageous
Experience on maintenance on Atlas Copco 282 Rocket Boomers, 235H Bolters, Epiroc S2 Boomers & Aard UV's is advantageous;
SAP experience will be advantageous;
Qualifications for this role are:

The Mine Overseer Infrastructure Main Shaft is accountable for the safe, effective and efficient operation of the South Deep main vertical shaft infrastructure and the associated ground handling systems. The vertical shaft is a 3000-metre single drop multiple shaft infrastructure comprising of 3 shafts and four winders. The horizontal ground handling system consists of an intricate network of 21 conveyor belts with numerous ore passes and box front systems. The incumbent's core accountability is to ensure the safe, optimised and integrated functioning of the ground handling systems aligned to an integrated continuous operational cycle. Effective operational delivery relies extensively on advanced technical capability, intricate planning and scheduling skills, an unwavering drive for collaborative delivery and, exceptional safety leadership experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Mine Overseer's Certificate of Competency for Scheduled Mines
- At least 5 years' experience in managing a horizontal environment as Logistic Mine Overseer
