Description of the Position

Accelerated Command - This is a unique opportunity to join as a Boeing or Airbus First Officer with an enhanced salary package and an accelerated command upgrade pathway. If you meet the standards and perform well, you will be eligible for accelerated command via an assessment process and upgrade course.

Min Salary

Minimum basic salary: AED 31,640 (~USD 8,621), not inclusive of flying pay.

Min required experience

To join our Accelerated Command program, you need:

• Minimum of 5,000 hours of total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
• Minimum of 2,000 hours command time on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with MTOW > 50 tonnes.
• Currently flying as a captain with at least 1,000 hours PIC on Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
• At least 150 hours in the past 12 months on type.
• Valid ICAO ATPL with matching Authority Class 1 Medical.
• ICAO English Level 5 or above.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and be responsible for program’s system control architecture and technical approach.This can include dynamic and transient thermal analysis, controls analysis, reliability analysis, testing, test analysis, and other accepted methods in aerospace for the development and verification and validation of controls.

• Identify and manage program’s technical risks with regards to system controls.

• Serve as technical controls lead for programs, provide clear objectives that are measurable and attainable, and coordinate technical activities with internal resources (engineers across different functional groups including analysis, software, and electrical) and external resources (vendors, contractors).

• Work closely with the Systems Engineer and other engineering disciplines to optimize system design and ensure successful execution of development programs.

Description

• Required to perform various SMV / Flight line duties including but not limited to :
• Conduct line maintenance inspections;
• Ensure quality is built in on Pre-Flight Post Flight and transit inspections performed;
• Performing routine and non-routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft to ensure they meet the highest safety and operational standards;
• Conduct routine inspections on various mechanical systems on the aircraft;
• Conduct fault finding and rectify based on the fault;
• Perform A-checks including weekly service checks;
• Perform thorough daily inspections of the aircraft to identify any potential issues or defects;
• Conduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft;
