  • Provide guidance and consultation services for regulatory reporting (e.g., BPDR, DPR)
  • Author and / or review global standards and procedures related to biologics, vaccines, and finished product ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Education and Required Experience :

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in hydro or large rotating electrical machinery
  • Strong understanding of generator mechanical design principles and cooling strategies
  • Experience working with OEMs on generator system procurement and testing
  • Familiarity with generator codes and standards (e.g. IEC IEEE ASME)
  • Proficient in interpreting mechanical stress vibration and thermal analyses
  • Excellent coordination skills with electrical and control teams

Technical Recruitment Consultant (Manufacturing Sector)Salary : Negotiable on skill and brilliance plus commission R10-30 depending on success Successful Engineering Software & Technical Training Team seeking an experienced Technical Recruitment Consultant with a strong understanding of the manufacturing sector, to lead and manage a team of two - Search Executive and Administrator; reporting into the Managing Director.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for New Business Development, Key Account Management and inspiring their teams for success, we are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent relationship management skills, team leadership ability and a proven track record in successfully closing technical placements in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities : Team Leadership & Management : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two, ensuring productivity and performance targets are met.

Provide training, guidance, and motivation to improve team efficiency and success.

Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the manufacturing sector.

Business Development & Client Acquisition : Identify and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client companies.

Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients.

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

Client Liaison & Key Account Management : Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their hiring needs and workforce planning.

Develop and implement client engagement strategies to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Manage existing accounts, upselling and broadening reach and service.

Lead Generation & Deal Closing : Generate leads through market research, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.

Convert leads into new clients through creative consulting and solutions building.

Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.

Candidate Recruitment & Placement : Source, screen, and place technical professionals in the manufacturing sector.

Ensure the client experiences a seamless recruitment process - from candidate identification to final placement.

Maintain a strong and engaged database of skilled manufacturing talent.

Required Skills & Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years recruitment experience, with a strong focus on manufacturing / technical roles.

Proven track record in business development and key account management.

Strong understanding of the manufacturing sector and industry hiring trends.

Excellent leadership, coaching and team inspiration skills.

Ability to generate leads and close deals Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency in CRM and recruitment software, currently using Placement Partner and Pnet Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Advantageous : Relevant recruitment certifications or professional training (advantageous).

Strong professional network within the manufacturing sector in South Africa.
