Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the Occupational Health & Safety Management System in line with the OHS Act, Regulations, ISO 45001, HACCP, and other applicable legislation.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, hazard identification and risk assessments (HIRA), and job observations.

Qualification:

Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant Health & Safety experience, preferably in agriculture, food processing, or research facilities.
• Certification in First Aid and Fire Fighting.

• Legally able to act as a Health & Safety appointee under the OHS Act.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites.

I am looking for an African male candidate who is a Health & Safety Officer and has worked in the Food Industry. Broadly, the successful person will be expected to do the following amongst other duties:

• Develop, implement, and maintain all programs related to health and safety in the company to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and achieve certification – run PPE programs, chair the OHS meetings.
