Location: Nelspruit, Mpumalanga (onsite)
- Conduct comprehensive health and safety audits and risk assessments.
- Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety systems compliant with the OHS Act and Regulations.
- Develop and maintain project-specific and client-specific Safety Files.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients on all health and safety matters.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to educate clients on health and safety topics.
- Assist clients in preparing for and passing health and safety inspections.
- Investigate incidents and accidents and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Keep up-to-date with current health and safety legislation and ensure clients are informed of any changes.
- Compile detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Health & Safety Administration.
Salary: R10,000 to R15,000 CTC DOE
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Nelspruit, Mpumalanga (onsite)
- Diploma in Safety Management or a related field.
- SAMTRAC Certification will be considered.
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Consultant or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

- Drafting and implementing OHS Policies.
- Drafting and implementing risk assessments and safe work procedures.
- Conducting Incident Investigations and reporting back to management of the organisation.
- Training and upskilling the client’s employees to perform inspections on a monthly basis and auditing inspections.
- Drafting and implementing emergency preparedness and response procedures.
- Establishing and facilitating safety committees.
- Drafting and conducting OHS inductions as per client’s requirements.
You'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma/Degree or equivalent
- Appropriate H&S Programmes; SAMTRAC or NEBOSCH IGC
