- Quality Control : Ensure adherence to quality standards and guidelines throughout the production process. Investigate and resolve quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Inventory and Resource Management : Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure that all machinery is operating efficiently. Track production costs and work to keep them within budget.
- Health and Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
- Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate production records, including output and quality metrics. Generate regular reports on production performance for senior management. Track and report on waste, downtime, and other key metrics.
Qualifications :
- Education : Preferred but not required; bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Experience : Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing team leader/management role.
- Knowledge : Knowledge of production scheduling software and E.R.P systems.
- Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
