We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our client’s team in Benoni, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing inventory.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-efficiency and quality of goods and services
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key vendors
  • Manage the procurement team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and prepare reports for senior management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with company goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to procurement
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
