This is a 6 month freelance role looking for an Account Manager who is passionate about sport. 
Experience working with sport related projects or products or services is essential for the role.

The role will involve the following:

  • Attending all partner/sponsor meetings (with an Agenda)
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned client accounts.

  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and quality assurance.
  • Support in preparing and delivering proposals, presentations, and reports.
  • Status and Contact Reports for each Partnership/Sponsor
  • Manage Contractual Commitments to ensure we get what we expect and vice versa
  • Track CE, Invoices, and payments per Partner/Sponsor
  • Merchandise Inventory Control and Stock take
  • Ensure event brand inventory set up/tear down/photo catalogue evidence to stakeholders (Watson Family, broadcast team, client etc)
  • Creative Brief creation of artwork / elements required from teams
  • Traffic creative artwork requirements with relevant team members according to deadlines
  • Project manage events scheduled for partners/sponsors alongside Broadcast Team
  • Weekend event work as needed

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the go-to person between clients, creative, and production, ensuring our work lands with precision and purpose.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Building and sustaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Managing digital campaigns from concept to rollout
  • Keep the work flowing between agency, client, and suppliers
  • Preparing accurate timelines
  • Tracking campaign performance, and report wins
  • Collaborating with our Account Directors to keep all accounts moving smoothly
  • Champion the Lucky Hustle energy — creative, fast-paced, and fun

Details:

  • Permanent contract.
  • Hybrid role (office location: Paulshof, Johannesburg).
  • Competitive remuneration (depending on experience).

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management (digital experience essential)
  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising
  • Strong grasp of digital, social media, and TTL campaigns
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail, budgeting, and reporting abilities
  • Familiar with platforms like Monday.com and MS Office
  • Own reliable transport (client-facing role)
  • Agency experience is a must
