Requirements:
- Degree in Metallurgical Engineering
- Management Degree
- 5 years of DMS and Recovery or separation technology environment experience, of which at least 3 years on senior management level
- Thorough knowledge of processing plants and DMS and Recovery circuits
- In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the mining and processing sector
- 8 years of DMS and Recovery or separation technology environment experience of which at least 5 years will be on senior management level (beneficial)
- Conduct process audits in compliance with quality standards, policies/procedures & legal requirements
- Monitor quality standards within the plant
- Assist with the development and implementation of the production budget
- Human Resources Development to improve individual performance and ensure succession planning, training and skills transfer of relevant personnel
- Submit and motivate capital/strategic expenses to the Production Superintendent
- Conduct metallurgical test work and prepare applicable reports to ensure the efficient processing and recovery of diamonds
- Ensure that all audit procedures are conducted efficiently
- Achieve process efficiency through effective roll-out of best practices
- Generating technical reports (professionally)
- Compliance with applicable statutory requirements and policies/procedures
- Manage process quality control
- Ensure quality conformance for the process plant and recovery
- Comply with safety, health, security and environmental standards
- Collaborating with our diverse team to maximise efficiency and productivity
