INBOUND LOGISTICS
Credit Note Stock
- Receive stock back against Vision JobCard for correctness
- Keep in demarcated credit note location based on condition/type indicated in Acumatica
- Daily transfers of stock credited to different Warehouse and locations.
Demo Stock
- Daily check and dispatch of approved DO Orders
- Demo Stock location stock control
- Zero stock variances with quarterly counts.
- Receive stock back against Vision JobCard for correctness
- Keep stock in Demo Credit Note location until credit notes have been processed
- Daily stock transfer of stock being credited to Demo Stock Location.
Stock Receiving
- Prioritize doorbell and attend to it immediately
- Inspect the stock for any physical damage, both palletized and loose boxes
- Control Goods Receiving process for all stock received at the warehouse.
- Ensure pallet/loose carton weights are clearly noted on the pallet sheet
- Ensure that delivery note is stamped and signed.
- If any damages, make a note on the delivery note, let the driver sign at the note.
- Report all the damages and discrepancies immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor before the driver leaves our premises.
- Scan serials/mac's for local supplier stock received and submit to Warehouse Supervisor and Procurement Administrator within 24hrs of receiving the stock
- Action physical stock movement to and from QC & Rework departments
- Action Project orders to and from Rework Departments for on time delivery to customers
Warehousing
- Manage and maintain stock replenishment, daily on FIFO method
- Ensure all stock received is moved from receiving area, when the communication is posted on incoming stock group (Teams)
- Ensure all pallets stored on the shelves are clearly marked, item number, qty, date received, and PO number are visible.
- Ensure shelves are marked with correct item numbers stored in allocated space
- Isolate customer invoiced stock awaiting dispatch from Nology stock, clearly mark every order with customer and invoice details, currently stored on the shelves, outbound team will upload delivery notes
- Ensure demarcated areas for different Nology stock types and mark the stock accordingly.
- Always maintain safe and clean environment, attend to your weekly cleaning schedule, move empty pallets to rubbish area on daily basis
- Always adhere to department and company policies and procedures
- Assist with quarterly stock takes
- Zero stock variances
- Pick orders with FIFO method
- Process orders according to demarcated areas and bins in warehouse

OUTBOUND LOGISTICS
Orders for delivery by driver
- Prepare daily orders for delivery timeously. Orders to be completed by 16:30 or next morning before 08:00
- Hand delivery documents to Supervisor before COB.
- Check deliveries with driver to make sure loaded orders are correct.
- Dispatch orders with most economical method to the company unless instructed otherwise by Supervisor.
- Track the waybill daily and report problems to Supervisors of both branches
Key Account Order dispatches
- Pick and process orders as they become available on Acumatica
- Update Acumatica with correct tracking details information
- Report any booking problems Supervisor immediately
- Prepare orders according to customer requirements with labels and markings.
- Feedback Supervisor with problems on orders dispatched in transit.
- Pick and pack orders and backorders according to date.
- Picking and Packing on Sales Orders with 100% correctness
- Ensure all goods leaving the warehouse has required documentation ( DN ) in parcels
- Adhere to shipping instructions on Acumatica dispatching orders.
Relief Driver Duties
- Plan daily deliveries most economical to Company together with Outbound Logistics Supervisor
- Check correctness of stock delivered/collected versus documentation
- Discuss visual damaged stock with Outbound Logistics Supervisor before accepting at supplier premisses.
- Complete and sign Delivery schedule
- Obtain required information and signatures from customers on the Delivery Schedule
- Hand in fuel slips together with delivery schedule
- Report undelivered orders to Outbound Logistics Supervisor and offload.
- Communicate any issues with stock / customer on site.
- Scan all paperwork to Supervisor to save on the system.
- Daily Vehicle checklist completion
- Report vehicle problems and accidents immediately
- Zero fines for disobeying road law

Job Description
-As Warehouse Assistant you will provide services as required and your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Safety, Health, and Environment
- Support a safe and healthy work environment where workers, external service providers, and contractors can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment.
- Adhere to Housekeeping principles to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
- Support compliance with MHSA in the workspace.
- Active participation in SLAMs, HPHs, relevant Risk Assessments and close-out of Safety Actions.
Performance and Delivery
- Provide help and support in resolving GRV systems queries.
- Execute the schedule to facilitate inventory movement, including RECOs and scrap, by receiving, binning, picking, delivering, and moving as per the requirements.
- Adhere to the applicable SHE Policies, Procedures, and guidelines; perform duties accordingly.
- Report any discrepancies, errors, or damages to inventory and equipment to the line supervisor.
- Organise floor space according to storage design principles, inventory segmentation, engineering specifications, and guidelines to maintain the storage area.
- Use 5S principles to initiate and maintain housekeeping.
- Collate and maintain security (access control); ensure proper operational materials handling equipment processes are applied.
- Use FIFO warehousing principles to perform stock rotation and picking.
- Assist in maintaining accurate stock status by performing cycle counting, bin verification, bin labelling, and moving redundant stock to designated areas.
- Compile necessary reports identifying variances and improvement opportunities; assist and support in the process.
- Provide and submit required documents for approval/record, such as reports, logs, and forms.
- Oversee the delivery of materials reserved for the plant area.
- Help maintain an improved OTIF receiving and issuing process.
This role is in the Commercial (CML) NC at a Band A4 (C1/C2) level reporting to the Supervisor Warehouse.
Qualifications
- -Grade 12/N3 Technical
- Preferably a certificate in Supply Chain or Logistics (NQF4)
- Advantageous Licences : Forklift, O/H Crane, LDV, Truck, and Reach Truck.

Experience
- 2 - 3 years of relevant warehouse knowledge/experience.
