Job Purpose
To ensure compliance with Quality Assurance requirements for all products manufactured by the company. This role is responsible for maintaining alignment with established Quality Management Systems (QMS), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 22716 across all areas of the organization.
- Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Facilitate effective non-conformance meetings to ensure actions are completed.
- Ensure annual QMS reviews are conducted per ISO standards.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits and hold follow-up meetings with relevant managers or suppliers to address findings.
- Oversee all aspects of the customer complaints process.
- Manage the distributor satisfaction survey process.
- Handle the Change Control process and escalate issues to the QA Manager when needed.
- Chair Change Control meetings.
- Ensure all products are appropriately controlled, proper procedures are followed, and batch releases are conducted (e.g., supplements).
- Hold monthly hygiene feedback meetings with managers to follow up on findings and address deviations.
- Ensure the organization complies with cosmetic and pharmaceutical cGMP.

- To ensure that the incoming items received comply with the relevant standards and technical specifications following processes as per ERP system or Intranet (BMS).
- Ability to use the various tools i.e., Height gauge, Vernier, go / no-go gauges, Protractors, Thread gauges, Optical Measuring Machine, CMM etc.
- Outgoing Inspection
- Assure adherence to delivery process
- Audits, Witnessing of product ATPs
- Assess the competence level of, and need for training of product team members.
- Assist Product / Project QAR with concessions on products are handled according to management systems processes
- Assist with adherence to documentation and the management system, and provide required training
Your profile :
Knowledge and Skills Required :
- Be able to perform visual inspections of Electronics Components, PBAs and Electromechanical assemblies
- Sound knowledge of J-STD-001, IPC_600 / 610 / 620 & IPC-7711 / 7721 standards is essential
- Be able to perform Documentation and Build History File verification
- Be able to read and understand drawings, work instruction and procedures
- 5S and ESD compliance is essential
- Logging of failure reports.
- Knowledge of Configuration Tool and ERP tool is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of the MS office environment
Experience Required :
- Experience in military Aviation Electronics is an advantage

Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, this role is pivotal in leading and advancing FEM’s Quality Assurance function. It plays a vital role in safeguarding customer satisfaction, ensuring regulatory compliance, and upholding the organisation’s reputation.
The primary objective of this position is to ensure FEM's operations consistently adhere to high standards of quality, performance, and reliability. Core responsibilities include the development and enforcement of quality benchmarks, ongoing process monitoring and evaluation, error and loss prevention, compliance assurance, and the delivery of training and support.
The role also involves proactively identifying and reporting potential risk areas to mitigate financial loss and reputational harm. Additionally, the incumbent must ensure that end-to-end processes in claims and premium cycle administration are compliant with relevant regulations, industry best practices, and stakeholder expectations.
Applicants must have successfully completed matric and relevant degree or diploma. Ideal candidates will hold a diploma or certificate in auditing, possess knowledge of ISO 9001, Total Quality Management, and COID (via a recognised tertiary institution), and bring at least two years of relevant work experience with a proven record of high performance.
