We are recruiting registered Physiotherapists to run their private practice from our premium in-club wellness suites. This is a rental-based opportunity to operate independently, leveraging the Virgin Active member base and multidisciplinary collaboration with Personal Trainers, Biokineticists, and Chiropractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy consultations, rehabilitation, and performance optimization services.
• Manage your own bookings, records, payments, and administrative processes.
• Maintain a consistent clinical presence in the club across peak member times.
• Collaborate with PTs and club teams to support member health journeys.

• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA – must be current and maintained).
• Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability cover.
• Current Level 1 First Aid with CPR and AED training.

Minimum requirements:

• Registered physiotherapist with HPCSA and Malpractice Insurance

Key Performance Areas:

We are seeking an experienced locum neurophysiotherapist to provide rehabilitation for patients with neurological conditions across acute, subacute, and outpatient settings. This role involves working very independently with minimal supervision and is not suitable for individuals with less than 2 years of work experience.

• Assess and treat patients with neurological conditions.
• Provide rehabilitation in hospital, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
• Implement therapy programs for gait, balance, posture, and mobility.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques.
• Maintain documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

About You:
You’re an enthusiastic LOCUM Physiotherapist living in Johannesburg with a passion for neurorehabilitation and client-centered care. You’re confident to treat patients across acute hospital, sub-acute, out-patient and community settings. You’re willing to work weekends and/or weekdays when the demand requires.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy
• Current HPCSA registration

• Proficiency in clinical documentation and basic IT platforms

• Valid driver’s license and personal car to enable easy travel between units
