As an Occupational Therapy Assistant you will plan and organise staff to carry out therapeutic activities under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist, Manager and or Registered Nurse.
Essential Criteria- Certificate III or IV in Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety principals and practices
- Ability to relate to older people with empathy and understanding
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven success working collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrated skills prioritising workload and managing time effectively
- Valid Police Clearance less than 6 months old (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
- NDIS Screening (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
- Evidence of Flu (2024) and COVID vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
- Availability to attend a paid 3-day induction (Monday – Wednesday) at our Rivervale Training Institute
