Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and renewable energy systems installed at client sites. This includes fault finding, preventative and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring, and ensuring system uptime. The role will also involve coordinating with project and operations teams to ensure reliable performance of energy solutions across Southern Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical and renewable energy systems (solar PV, metering, battery storage, etc.).
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues in installed systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Prepare maintenance reports and update technical documentation.
- Collaborate with project engineers and technicians for system upgrades and improvements.
- Provide technical support to clients and assist with training where necessary.
Qualifications
