- Revenue generation (Single and recurring premiums)
- Activity quotas

2. Networking, prospecting and leads generation
- Face to face interactions, social or business, to create business opportunities.
- Prospecting of new clients through creative opportunities such as business/social networks, associations or ad hoc presentations.
- Turning trusted relationships into business relationships.
- Strengthening existing relationships by increasing the current service.
- Use existing sources to establish opportunities across Sanlam businesses.
- Personalised client value propositions.
- Marketing on social media.
- Undertake selected client focused activities to generate leads and informal prospecting opportunities.
- Mining of existing client base to identify marketing gaps and sales opportunities within the middle-high and affluent market.
- Structuring and implementing focused campaigns with new or existing clients in the defined market.
- Requesting active and ongoing leads and referrals from others.
- Monitoring and respond to client activities such as maturities, cancelations or surrenders within the defined market.
3.Client consultations and sales
- Ensure all client interactions are compliant in terms of disclosures and advice given (provide written/ electronic information required for compliance).
- Undertake comprehensive fact finding with each client to lift needs and priorities. Document these findings.
- Conduct a financial needs analysis, using the relevant e-tools / instruments or systems, to ascertain the clients full financial situation; or utilise the services of a Para-Planner for this. (Draw policy history).
- Provide sound personal financial planning advice.
- Apply financial knowledge in putting together a plan that meets the needs of the client for a balanced portfolio.
- Present financial solutions to the client in a professional and competent manner aligned to Treating Customers Fairly.
- Use relevant processes and system tools to capture analysis information and update records accordingly.
- Review client’s portfolio annually by undertaking the above steps.
4. Client Service
- Ensure all client interactions are ethical, courteous and professional.
- Follow-up or refer all existing business queries to be resolved timeously through support.
- Strive for excellent, value-added service to clients so that they do not seek competitor products or services.
- Undertake continuous learning in terms of knowledge, skills and market/industry issues so as to service clients within the defined market.
- Initiate long term client relationships and maintain a relational focus.
5. Monitor, update and reporting (weekly/monthly)
Document and present the following activities:
- Number and profile of contacts, appointments, consultations.
- Issued business and revenue against targets.
- Update client details on records.
- Appropriate workflow and activity monitor system entries.

Undertake the procurement of sustainable business of a high quality, in accordance with the business targets set. Maintain and service these clients as part of a long-term relationship which builds loyalty to the brand and generates ongoing advice and sales. Perform these activities in a compliant and ethical manner to build and sustain the Sanlam Group business and brand.
What will you do?- Provide professional and relevant financial advice, planning and products that meet client needs.
- Procure sustainable, high-quality business aligned to business targets.
- Maintain and service clients as part of a long-term relationship to generate ongoing advice and sales.
- Ensure all client interactions are compliant in terms of disclosures and advice given (provide written/electronic information required for compliance).
- Undertake comprehensive fact-finding with each client to lift needs and priorities and document findings.
- Conduct a financial needs analysis using relevant e-tools/instruments or systems (or utilise a Para-Planner services) and draw policy history.
- Provide sound personal financial planning advice and present financial solutions professionally aligned to treating customers fairly.
- Use processes and systems to capture analysis information and update records; review client portfolios annually.
- Initiate long-term client relationships and maintain a relational focus; monitor client activities and respond to maturities, cancellations or surrenders within defined markets.
- Deliver excellent, value-added service to clients to encourage loyalty and minimize seeking competitor products or services.
- Undertake continuous learning to improve knowledge, skills and market/industry issues.
- Assist in growing the Sanlam Adviser Business.
- Commit to marketing plans and targets for growth as defined by the distribution strategy.
- Apply knowledge of market segmentation and customer profiles to support sales and growth within the defined market.
- Networking, prospecting and leads generation; face-to-face engagements to create business opportunities.
- Turn trusted relationships into business relationships; strengthen existing relationships by increasing current service.
- Leverage existing sources to establish opportunities across Sanlam businesses and tailor personalised client value propositions.
- Market on social media and undertake client-focused activities to generate leads and informal prospecting opportunities.
- Monitor and respond to client activities, maintain ethical and compliant client interactions, and document findings.
- Undertake comprehensive fact-finding and financial needs analysis; update records accordingly.
- Review portfolios annually and ensure ongoing compliance with disclosures and advice given.
- Grade 12
- FAIS "Fit and Proper" requirements and Regulatory Examination completed if registered with FSCA for more than 24 months.

A reputable and growing business is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant , with strong tax experience, to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full accounting function, tax compliance, and supporting the business with accurate financial reporting and analysis. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting, paired with a deep understanding of tax legislation and requirements, who is eager to grow in a fast-paced and professional environment.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Handle VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions
- Prepare and submit corporate income tax returns (ITR14)
- Assist with tax planning and ensure compliance with current tax legislation
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations
- Prepare audit packs and liaise with external Auditors during audits
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Assist with SARS correspondence and tax queries
- Ensure that all financial and tax records are maintained in compliance with the relevant regulations
- Provide support on ad hoc finance and tax projects as needed
- BCom Accounting or similar qualification (SAIPA/SAICA articles advantageous)
- Minimum 3–5 years accounting experience with a strong focus on tax
- Solid knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations
- Experience preparing and submitting SARS tax returns
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, CaseWare, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Deadline-driven, with good problem-solving skills and initiative
- Experience with trusts or group structures
- Working knowledge of eFiling and related SARS platforms
- Exposure to IFRS or IFRS for SMEs

- Participate in vendor selection processes, including drafting and assessing RFI/RFP responses.

- Proven experience in a Solutions Architect role, ideally within financial services or regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end credit processes, with exposure to e-commerce or retail credit models.
- Practical experience governing solutions within an architectural function.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Ability to plan and rationalize project goals from limited information, delivering holistic designs.
- Awareness of IT industry trends and a technology-neutral mindset to identify best-fit solutions.
- Decisiveness and confidence when presenting solutions and guiding delivery teams.
- AWS experience, ideally with AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
- Familiarity with business domains such as finance, procurement, HR, security, or logistics.
- Broad understanding of modern techniques and tooling, including API-first design, Cloud Native, containerization, and PaaS on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience working with Agile product teams while governing architecture in a way that supports continuous delivery.
