As an Assistant Plant Operator, you will be involved in daily monitoring of plant equipment, routine inspections, and assisting with operational and maintenance activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

About the role

As a Shift Technician at our data center, you will be responsible for conducting a range of asset and site monitoring tasks. Your role includes performing routine plant checks, carrying out basic repairs, and providing basic installation and modification services. You will also handle machine servicing under supervision to ensure optimal operation of our data center infrastructure. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team, maintaining high standards of service and reliability

The Data Centre sites operate on a 24/7 basis as such you may be required to respond operational

requirements in line with functional responsibilities. Furthermore, due to the nature of the

position and operational requirements of the company you will be required to working according

to a Shift Roster, including weekend and night work. The details will be confirmed during the

What you will bring

• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training in Electrical Engineering or a related

Key Tasks:
To perform defined operator functions in the Sample Treatment Centre of the Indicator Mineral Laboratory and to adhere to all ECOHS procedures.

Treat Samples

• Produce heavy (indicator) mineral sample concentrates by treating samples per procedure and generating process data by:

• Following Diamond Control protocols when treating samples

• Entering data using the sample tracking system (LIMS)
• Reporting faults/non-conformances and initiating corrective actions or refers problems if required
• Recording treatment data (treatment records; decontamination records, tromp curves, LIMS data etc.)
• Performing tracer tests as required and reporting deviations in expected performance
