About the role:

Minimum Requirements

• BSc Eng/BEng in a relevant civil engineering discipline complimented by a relevant postgraduate qualification.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng.) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
• At least 10 years postgraduate experience in civil engineering.
• Comprehensive project management, quality assurance and project governance experience.
• Effective planning and time management skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor and manage people and have strong inter-personal and networking skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

· The design and managing water engineering infrastructure projects (i.e., Bulk Water, Water reticulation, Water Treatment facilities, Waste Water Plant, Reservoirs, Serwer and etc);

· To develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans;

· Manage resident engineers, determines project specifications by studying;

· product design, customer requirements, and performance standards;

· Completing technical studies and preparing cost estimates;

• Minimum 3–5 years' hands-on experience in water treatment, including boilers, cooling towers, and chillers.
