We are seeking an SEO Lead who combines deep technical expertise with leadership skills and a drive to innovate. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, ensuring best practices and clear goals. Assess Scopic’s current SEO strategy and develop a roadmap to increase organic traffic, lead generation, and conversions . Oversee execution of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives. Monitor performance, analyze data, and generate reports with actionable insights. Analyze emerging trends in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and develop strategies to position Scopic's brand and content in AI-driven search results such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. Stay ahead of industry trends—particularly innovations in AI-driven SEO and GEO—and proactively introduce new tools and methods. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and development teams to align SEO strategies with business goals. Ensure consistent communication, organization, and clarity in task planning and reporting.Required Qualifications:
7+ years of professional SEO experience , including leadership/management of SEO teams. Proven track record of delivering SEO growth in competitive industries (bonus if in software development or technology ). Strong technical SEO knowledge (site audits, crawling, indexing, schema, site speed optimization, etc.). Expertise in on-page and off-page SEO , including link-building and digital PR. Proficiency with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools . Familiarity with web structures : servers, CMS platforms, HTML/CSS, JavaScript. Experience with AI/LLM-driven SEO experimentation (preferred, but not required). Excellent communication and organizational skills — able to explain complex SEO insights in a clear, actionable way. What your day-to-day will look like:
Developing, implementing, and tracking digital marketing programs (SEO, email, social media, content, paid campaigns). Conducting market and competitor research , analyzing trends, and identifying growth opportunities. Writing, proofreading, and editing SEO-driven content independently (minimal briefs; you’ll research and structure content yourself). Brainstorming and developing creative marketing campaigns for both Scopic and Scopic Studios clients. Optimizing web content and campaigns for visibility, engagement, and conversion. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts. Translating research and performance data into actionable marketing strategies and recommendations. Managing multiple projects in parallel while ensuring quality and timely delivery.The skills and traits we’re looking for:
4+ years of digital marketing experience across multiple channels (SEO, content, email, paid ads, social). Hands-on experience in at least 2–3 areas of digital marketing (e.g., social media management, PPC/Google Ads, SEO, or email campaigns). Proven problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset —able to identify challenges and propose smart, data-driven solutions. Experience working remotely and managing time effectively across multiple projects. Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and SEO-optimized content independently. Knowledge of SEO best practices (technical, on-page, and keyword research). Versatile and adaptable—able to quickly learn new tools, industries, and campaign types. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute creative ideas.Bonus points if you have:
Experience with Google Ads, email automation, or advanced analytics tools. Familiarity with WordPress, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, or CRM tools.
