What Will You Do?
- Oversee the planning, development, and launch of multiple websites built on WordPress and other platforms, ensuring they meet client goals and industry standards
- Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
- Work with designers, developers, SEO specialists, and content creators to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Review and approve all work to ensure accessibility, SEO best practices, and overall quality
- Continuously improve workflows to enhance efficiency and project outcomes
You're a Great Fit If You:
- Have at least 2 years of experience managing website development projects in a digital marketing agency
- Have strong knowledge and experience in WordPress development, as well as familiarity with other CMS platforms
- Have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field
- Can articulate well and speak English at a professional level
- Have strong organizational and project management skills
- Able to provide at least 7 hours of overlap with the 9 am-5 pm EST workday (Monday - Friday)

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Web Development Account Manager to lead the coordination of web development projects from the sales process through to final delivery. This role is the bridge between our sales team, internal business units, project execution teams, and our valued clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development processes and terminology, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects effectively.
This position also includes advising on hiring and vendor engagement, managing a small number of retainer clients, and overseeing relationships with white-label partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Internal Coordination:
- Collaborate with the sales team to define project scope, capabilities, and pricing strategies.
- Keep all relevant business units (operations, finance, etc.) informed of project updates and requirements.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and pricing for projects.
- Maintain project timelines and keep the execution team, including other individual contributors, aligned and on track.
2. External Client Coordination:

Some interesting projects we’ve worked on this year include:
Intelligently automating the allocation work to our consultants through queue management
Migrating MongoDB (on prem) to an AWS hosted DocumentDB / S3 ecosystem
Developing complex transactions that integrate with SARS and allow for the combining of clients’ retirement saving accounts.
Designing and developing the integration for Allan Gray’s new Offshore product (in Guernsey)
Bulk transacting on multiple accounts in a Model Portfolio solution
Skills & Experience:
A versatile generalist.
At least two years' experience in modern microservices programming language such as Go, Scala, Java or Python.
Since we are a multi-technology environment, knowledge of computer science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms is required.
An appreciation of industry best practices for the full software development life cycle, including consistent and clean code, following coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
A team player who values collaborating and sharing ideas.
Eagerness to solve problems.
Passion to create value and measurable impact for our users.
The ability to multi-task, prioritise, and get things done!
Minimum Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
