Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for maintenance (planned & unplanned) in the factory environment as well as Health & Safety
  2. Core team member for new projects with responsibility for specification of equipment & co-ordination with suppliers
  3. Co-ordinate planned maintenance tasks, ad-hoc maintenance tasks and health & safety tasks through the use of SAP Maintenance module
  4. Ensure completion of above tasks to required standard within the given timeframe
  5. Creation of purchase orders for all maintenance and equipment purchases
  6. Responsible for management and organisation of permanent staff in reporting structure.
  7. Manage all leave requirements for reporting structure
  8. Ensure that workplace safety standards are met and that appropriate safety clothes, shoes, hearing protection, etc are used.
  9. Train and coach maintenance employees continuously according to standard operating procedures.
  10. Coordinate with Production Department to ensure that flow of production is maintained.
  11. Communicate daily with Maintenance employees
  12. Schedule and conduct Toolbox talks
