Our client, a leading Earthmoving Equipment supplier in Durban, is searching for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join their growing team.

Requirements:

• Trade Test Certification in Earthmoving Equipment Mechanics (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 6-7 years' experience as a Mechanic working on earthmoving equipment
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems
• Experience using diagnostic tools and engine software interfaces
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license (South African or equivalent)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

1. Financial and operational reporting and monitoring.
2. Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reports.
3. Analyse and interpret financial and management information and reports.
4. Implementation, monitoring and reporting of specific projects.
5. Ensure detailed analysis of obsolete stock.
6. Continuous maintenance of SAP reporting.
7. Ensure proper reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
8. Manage balance sheet items and ratios.
9. Analyse target and productivity monitoring.
10. Calculate and execute commission reports.
11. Suggest solutions for problem areas identified.
12. Liaison with external auditors and compiling Audit Committee report.
13. Analyse and monitor financial information and key business drivers.
14. Monitor and control of outstanding debtors.
15. Ensure capital expenditure is within the approved budget.
16. Reconciliation between SAP and Equipment.
17. Review applicable systems, processes and procedures.
18. Identify any shortcomings or non-compliance with existing systems, processes and procedures.
19. Recommend and develop, test and implementation of changes in the system, processes and procedures.
20. Identify and recommend training needs.
21. Analyse historic financial information.
22. Incorporate all changes to current business model and structure.
23. Prepare, analyse, interpret and present final budget.

1. Candidates with an Honours degree will receive preference.
2. Two years relevant experience.

• Reporting and recording all non-compliant items as per defined procedures

• To ensure that all necessary testing is carried out
• To approve specifications, sampling instructions, test methods and other Quality Control Procedures
• To check the maintenance of his department, premises and equipment

Job Description:

To assist the Technical manager with the implement the Quality Assurance and Quality Control system of all products. Must have experience in electronic repairs.

• Must be able to work late should there be a procedure in hospital
• Think on feet
• Roaming Clinic Representative / Equipment handling
• Travel to assist in theatre at State and Private Hospitals
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English
• Valid drivers license / Own reliable vehicle
• Must be extremely presentable and Professional
• Excellent interaction and communication
