The Challenge
We’ve built powerful tools across our internal and customer-facing platforms, but we need a design system champion to bring visual and functional consistency across everything from our app interface to marketing collateral.
Your job is to lead and implement a cohesive, industry-grade design system in Figma, ensuring every component and page is reusable, scalable, and pixel-perfect.
What You'll Do
Design System & Figma Ownership
- Audit, structure, and maintain a scalable design system in Figma
- Create reusable components, variants, and styles to be applied across product features, dashboards, and web pages
- Ensure all design files follow best practices for auto layout, naming, accessibility, and developer handoff
- Collaborate with engineers to align Figma files with live components and contribute to the eventual adoption of a shared design system codebase
Product UI/UX
- Own the user experience and interface design across our internal product and customer dashboard
- Map user flows, wireframes, and interaction models that enhance usability and drive user value
- Work with product leads and developers to ensure smooth handoff and iteration cycles
Marketing Design
- Design and maintain visual assets for brochures, investor decks, pitch documents, and landing pages
- Collaborate with growth and content teams to deliver compelling collateral that aligns with brand standards
- Support brand evolution across all customer-facing design
Requirements
- At least 3 years of UI/UX design experience, ideally in SaaS or product-focused companies
- Mastery of Figma - design systems, components, auto-layout, prototyping, and team libraries
- Proven experience creating and maintaining design systems used across multiple teams/products
- Strong understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards
- Ability to translate abstract requirements into clean, functional designs
- Bonus: experience working closely with engineers on design-to-code systems

The Role :
As a Product Designer at MRI, you will work across the UX domain, including research (user interviews, product reviews, persona development), design (sketching, group ideation, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping), documentation (wireframes, specification writing), and user testing.
As part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate with other designers and use qualitative and quantitative data to make informed, design-related decisions. You should be proficient at converting requirements into practical product features and have a high standard for visual design execution.
Functions :
Design user interfaces and process flows using iterative design techniques incorporating findings from user interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery
Produce user personas, user stories, prototypes, wireframes, interaction and design specifications
Run ad-hoc usability tests with end users when needed and communicate research findings
Facilitate design review sessions with key stakeholders with the goal of advocating for the user needs
Engage with development to understand platform capabilities, communicate design goals, adapt and verify designs through the agile software development process
Create and maintain UI guidelines and visual standards
Identify opportunities for product or feature enhancements
Remain up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and consumer preferences
Iterate existing designs to meet industry or consumer needs
You Have :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
4+ years’ experience as an information architect, interaction designer, product designer, user experience designer, and / or usability engineer
Proven knowledge of design aesthetics and solid understanding of User-Centered Design principles
Proficient in design tools, specifically Figma. Experience with other design tools such as Sketch and the Adobe Suite is beneficial
Knowledge of responsive design techniques and challenges
Experience in contributing to a design system

Understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and how designs are implemented

The Role:
As a Product Designer at MRI, you will work across the UX domain, including research (user interviews, product reviews, persona development), design (sketching, group ideation, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping), documentation (wireframes, specification writing), and user testing.
As part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate with other designers and use qualitative and quantitative data to make informed, design-related decisions. You should be proficient at converting requirements into practical product features and have a high standard for visual design execution.
Functions:
Design user interfaces and process flows using iterative design techniques incorporating findings from user interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery
Produce user personas, user stories, prototypes, wireframes, interaction and design specifications
Run ad-hoc usability tests with end users when needed and communicate research findings
Facilitate design review sessions with key stakeholders with the goal of advocating for the user needsEngage with development to understand platform capabilities, communicate design goals, adapt and verify designs through the agile software development process
Create and maintain UI guidelines and visual standards
Identify opportunities for product or feature enhancements
Remain up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and consumer preferences
Iterate existing designs to meet industry or consumer needs
You Have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
1-3 years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, product designer, user experience designer, and/or usability engineer
Proven knowledge of design aesthetics and solid understanding of User-Centered Design principles
Sharp attention to detail
Proficient in design tools, specifically Figma. Experience with other design tools such as Sketch and the Adobe Suite is beneficial
Understanding of cross platform, browser, and device design strategies
Relative experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript. While it is unlikely you will code, having knowledge of how Front-End code works is beneficial
Knowledge of responsive design techniques and challenges
Experience in contributing to a design system
Time and project management skills
