  • Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software, plus advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven track record of managing audits and working knowledge of IFRS or equivalent standards.
  • Deep understanding of compliance requirements (SARS regulations, BEE scoring, etc.).

Specific Role Responsibilities

General:

  • Partner with the CEO, Group CFO, and the Board to develop a 3-5 year business plan to create shareholder wealth.
  • Ensure FNZ (SA) has the skills and resources to comply with local financial regulations and that financial risks are managed appropriately.
  • Implement processes and controls to execute plans, including annual budgeting.
  • Act as a bridge between the UK Board and Finance to communicate finance strategy throughout the business.
