- Proven track record of managing audits and working knowledge of IFRS or equivalent standards.
- Deep understanding of compliance requirements (SARS regulations, BEE scoring, etc.).

Specific Role Responsibilities
General:
- Partner with the CEO, Group CFO, and the Board to develop a 3-5 year business plan to create shareholder wealth.
- Ensure FNZ (SA) has the skills and resources to comply with local financial regulations and that financial risks are managed appropriately.
- Implement processes and controls to execute plans, including annual budgeting.
- Act as a bridge between the UK Board and Finance to communicate finance strategy throughout the business.
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, investors, and other external finance functions.
- Ensure regular Board reporting, including management accounts, customer profitability analysis, and capital management/cash flow forecasting.
- This role does not impact CASS processing activities within FNZ or its clients.

- Strengthen financial governance and compliance in alignment with King IV principles.
- Coordinate and facilitate monthly Executive Committee (Exco) meetings.
- Support the CEO in developing strategic documents and ensure execution of group strategies.
- Drive the implementation of BBBEE structures where applicable to support transformation objectives.
Budget Management
- Manage the annual budget process and ensure that all divisions prepare and submit appropriate budgets.

Acquisitions
