The position reports to the DC Finance and Admin Manager.
Responsibilities- Co-ordinate the packaging procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timeous and accurate delivery.
- Monitor packaging inventory levels and compile quarterly/monthly forecasts toprevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Audit that all purchased goods meet quality standards and specifications.
- Keep records of the monthly supplier meetings performance scorecards.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate key procurement insights (usage, spent per item/supplier)
- Compiling Dashboards/ reports for management.
- Collaborate with packaging controllers to ensure efficiency in packaging department.

- Assist with month end financial reporting: analyse general ledger accounts and posting journals.
- Assist with budget compilations.
- Assist with RFP and RFQ processes during sourcing of newsuppliers/business.

- Minimum 2 years relevant experience within a Warehouse/Supply Chain environment.

The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management processes to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality supply of goods and services required by the organisation. Required Qualifications and Experience:

− Experience working within an FMCG or a Food Manufacturing business is required.
− Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy and systems.

− Strong cost awareness with a proven track record of achieving savings without compromising quality.
− Demonstrated knowledge of B-BBEE procurement requirements.

- Proficient in MS Office and Supply Chain Management software (e.g., ERP systems).
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
