Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to achieve guest acquisition, retention, and owner engagement goals.

Guest-Focused Marketing
  1. Build a branding strategy for the new hotel product.
  2. Design and oversee marketing plans, including property email strategies, that align with group objectives and hotel budgets.
  3. Execute marketing initiatives and collateral production to achieve sales goals and maximize revenue opportunities.
  4. Partner with Revenue Management to create and execute promotional strategies, including OTA media investments.
  5. Develop targeted campaigns to support group lead generation and guest retention.
  6. Analyze and present marketing performance reports to stakeholders, providing actionable insights to refine strategies as needed.
Owner-Focused Marketing
  1. Collaborate with the sales team to establish relationships with real estate agents for property owner referrals.
  2. Create and implement marketing strategies to position the client as the trusted and premier property management company for short-term rental owners.
  3. Develop marketing initiatives that highlight the client's ability to maximize revenue and protect homeowners' investments.
  4. Build and manage the client's brand as a trusted partner for property owners seeking professional and reliable management services.
Brand Building & Reputation Management
  1. Act as the client's brand guardian, ensuring that all marketing materials and communications reflect the brand’s voice, values, and visual identity.
  2. Build a compelling brand story that resonates with both short-term rental guests and property owners.
  3. Foster brand awareness and loyalty by ensuring a consistent and exceptional experience across all guest and owner touchpoints.
  4. Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation, including guest reviews and owner feedback, to strengthen trust and credibility.
Team Leadership
  1. Recruit, train, and onboard property marketing associates, fostering a high-performing team.
  2. Manage direct reports, addressing employee concerns and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  3. Conduct annual performance evaluations, recommend promotions, and support employee career development.
  4. Oversee team productivity and efficiency, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Identify and explore new markets and potential clients for both guest bookings and property management services.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to support marketing initiatives.
  3. Coordinate and execute social and corporate packages across all resort properties.
  4. Submit weekly marketing activity reports to the General Managers and CEO.
  5. Handle any additional responsibilities assigned by leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  2. Proven experience in hospitality or property management marketing, with a strong understanding of short-term rental markets.
  3. Expertise in brand building, digital marketing, SEO, and analytics platforms.
  4. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing marketing teams.
  5. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Cycle Planning Management

  • Develop and lead the overall Cycle Planning process to drive best-in-class execution of brand activities across all Channels.
  • Build and drive the integrated activity grid and promotional calendar with Commercial Channel Heads and Portfolio managers across the brands.
  • Build effective go-to-market processes with brand and sales teams to ensure OTIF delivery of promotions, campaigns and POS toolkits in trade.
  • Champion last-mile execution in outlets with sales teams to ensure successful campaign delivery and ROI for the business.
  • Lead the NPD listing process with customers, including developing trade selling kits with brand teams and coordinating the launch process with Key Account and Field Sales teams.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure successful execution of trade marketing plans, with a focus on achieving sales and distribution targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and agency partners to ensure trade marketing campaigns are aligned with brand positioning and have strong shopper call to actions.
  • Coordinate relationships with agencies and suppliers to deliver world-class trade execution.

Budget Management and Regulatory Compliance

  • Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring maximum ROI for the business.
  • Track performance of trade marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure that all trade marketing activities comply with South African laws and regulations related to alcohol marketing, sales, and distribution.

People Management

  • Manage team of Trade Marketing Managers, including skills development, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Use the Performance Review process effectively to develop team competency (including addressing capability gaps, performance management, and individual development programs)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is an advantage
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in trade marketing and brand management/sales within the alcoholic beverage or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing trade marketing activities across the Formal, Informal and On-Trade channels.
  • Expert knowledge of trade marketing principles and trade execution materials across all channels.
  • Deep understanding of the liquor industry, including distribution channels, key players, market trends and regulatory landscape in South Africa.

The Sales Associate will play a critical role within the Commercial team at Mainstream Renewable Power South Africa. What you will do:

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic, commercially-minded leader to own our go-to-market engine. You’ll lead high-performing, cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success , each with experienced leaders already in place. Your role is to align these functions into a unified engine for growth.

You’ll be directly responsible for aligning the full customer journey from acquisition to retention, and building scalable processes to deliver predictable growth. You'll work closely with Product to ensure our customer insights feed directly into development.

We’re looking for someone to be ideally based in Cape Town, or alternatively the USA.

What you’ll do

  • Set the go-to-market strategy across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Own and align the customer journey from acquisition to onboarding, retention, and expansion
  • Build scalable, data-driven processes that enable predictable growth
  • Drive collaboration across teams to ensure unified messaging and go-to-market execution
  • Work with Product to align customer needs and insights with product development

What you’ll need

  • Demonstrated experience of successfully scaling B2B SaaS companies, ideally in vertical software growth
  • Strong grasp of go-to-market metrics (CAC, LTV, NRR, pipeline, etc.)
  • Experience leading cross-functional commercial teams
  • Startup/scale-up mindset where strategy and execution go hand-in-hand
  • Deep customer-focus
  • A data and process driven approach to decision making, with strong commercial instincts
  • Bonus: exposure to agriculture, supply chain, or AI-driven product environments

Collaborate with both UK & SA creating modern, high quality brand identity while supporting and guiding creatives in the office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute video editing and post-production with raw footage supplied by the UK team — including cutdowns, colour grading, pacing, transitions, and platform optimisation
  • Assist with creation and refinement of graphic design assets for social ads, website banners, email campaigns, and photo editing
  • Provide UI visual support to ensure consistency across website design and user experience alongside the UI/UX team
  • Support and coordinate the South Africa creative team, assisting with daily workloads, deadlines, and quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with UK-based marketing and creative teams to interpret briefs and execute ideas across multiple channels
  • Repurpose and optimise visual content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, website, and paid/organic social campaigns
  • Support Shopify content updates where required
  • Contribute to the weekly marketing calendar, aligning creative output with strategic campaign goals

As a HubSpot CX Marketing Consultant, your role requires expert knowledge in the MarTech space. This entails consulting with clients to understand their business and marketing needs, developing effective marketing strategies and technology architectures, configuring technology systems, and managing change processes.

Here are a few of the tasks you'll get to work on

  • Design and execute a cutting-edge marketing strategy and framework, adeptly anticipating and meeting the unique demands of our valued clients. Your goal will be to ensure exceptional client satisfaction throughout the entire process.
  • Initial setup and training for clients. The work will involve setting up tools after the Solution Architect has completed their architecture and configuration.
  • Provide continuous consultancy for clients by managing a wish list of client needs and goals.
  • Take ownership of integration projects in which you actively participate, from a Marketing and CX perspective.
  • Analyse and provide recommendations on how clients can follow marketing and technology best practices through technology audits.
  • Ensuring integrated reporting across the tech solutions to enable closed-loop reporting and ensure integrations meet these criteria.
  • Keep up to date with and communicate new technology products, features and changes to existing features within the marketing space.
  • Provide expertise in technology features and how to leverage these for marketing & relevant communications.

️ To excel in this role, you should have the following

  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, preferably in a client-facing consulting or specialist role within a digital agency or consultancy.
  • A solid knowledge of HubSpot or equivalent CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, or Marketo.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills in English with the ability to articulate concepts clearly.
  • A strong business acumen and the ability to conduct engaging presentations.
  • Hands-on experience with online marketing tools, methodologies, and practices.
  • Familiarity with agile marketing and the ability to adapt to changing processes.
  • A solid understanding of Inbound Marketing and Customer Experience (CX) Marketing.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to quickly grasp our technology stack.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
