Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a SYSPRO Manufacturing Consultant located in Centurion. The SYSPRO Manufacturing Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and customization of the SYSPRO ERP system within manufacturing operations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing manufacturing processes, providing ERP training to staff, and ensuring the ERP system meets the operational needs of the supply chain and manufacturing processes. The consultant will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize ERP solutions and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain Management
• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically SYSPRO
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

The main purpose of the role is to ensure efficient operation of the paper machine. The main duties include:

1. Assist operators and controllers in the plant as and when required.
2. Learning the rewinder, pope, paper machine and RCF plant.
3. Feed paper to start a new reel on the re-winder.
4. Running rewinder.
5. Making a join after paper break at the rewinder.
6. Assist monitoring the rewinder equipment condition and inform maintenance when not in good condition.
7. Assist at the paper machine during tail feeding.
8. Assist during breakdowns and shut.
9. Assist with troubleshooting during periods of poor run-ability at the rewinder.
10. Assist in any assigned maintenance tasks.
11. Adherence to safety, environmental and quality standards.
12. Ensure adherence to housekeeping standards.
13. Assist anywhere on the plant as requested by senior management.

1. Matric with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science.
2. Technical diploma or B-Tech in Pulp and Paper.
3. Preferably, one year experience in a Manufacturing environment.
4. Good understanding of Safe Material Handling Requirements.

Requirements:
