KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Perform a variety of plant operations and tasks to build practical experience.
  2. Assist with monitoring machine operations and ensure proper functioning throughout the production process.
  3. Conduct routine maintenance checks and assist in the execution of maintenance schedules.
  4. Identify, troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues, escalating more complex problems to senior technicians.

REQUIREMENTS
  1. Grade 12 (with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy)
  2. N1 to N3 TVET Certificate in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering or similar technical qualification (an added advantage)
  3. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but we welcome entry-level candidates with a passion for technology.
  4. Have an understanding of basic machinery operation and maintenance.
  5. Ability to perform minor fault finding and repairs on equipment.
  6. Have problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  7. Strong communication skills for clear collaboration with team members.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc Honours degree in Physiology;
  • 2 years research experience with exposure to a variety of laboratory techniques relating to physiology, biochemistry and cell culture.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):

  • Research knowledge;
