Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years related experience.
• Candidates must have an Architectural Qualification.
• Must possess strong design, execution, and problem-solving skills with experience on complex projects.
• Commitment to staying informed on the latest architectural technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Candidates must have proficiency in the use of Autodesk Revit for project development and BIM proficiency can be an advantage.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) as well as Blue Beam.
• Candidates should also have strong digital modeling skills and possess well-developed organization as well as strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

Company Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead high-end projects from concept to completion, with a focus on site project management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site project activities, coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead site meetings and ensure project timelines, budgets, and goals are met.
• Use Revit and AutoCAD to produce detailed construction drawings and 3D models.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports to Project related Senior Architect or Directors

JOB PURPOSE

The primary function is to assist the Principal Architect in the management and execution of a project in the provision of a professional services related to the implementation of construction projects. This role may extend to oversight of the project team in specified deliverable areas.

The Architect may be required to oversee and document smaller projects in their entirety and report directly to the Director

Secondary functions are determined by the organization and deals with strategic and operational goals of the business.

Key areas of focus:

· Design and ability execute designs in conjunction with the Senior Architect

· Housing projects oversight and management

· Project Oversight

· Documentation and implementation

· Local authority liaison and submission management.

· Operational systems management: Technical standards monitoring and implementation.

· Operational systems management: Drawing standards management and implementation through ArchiCAD management.

· Presentation ability and software knowledge.

· Technical knowledge must be fair to strong.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM EFFECTIVELY

· Minimum of 5 years' experience working in an architectural practice

· Proven track record in technical resolution, design and project administration.

· Good communication skills - both verbal and written.
