To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Proficiency in Product Repair and Maintenance: Efficiently repair and maintain mechanical/electrical products, disassemble and assemble engines or power generators, and inspect and replace parts to minimize customer costs.
- Strong Mechanical Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of Cummins and industry standards, comply with safe work procedures, and apply mechanical principles to diagnose and repair products safely and efficiently.
- Effective Diagnostics Application: Translate customer complaints into troubleshooting plans, use specialized equipment and software to isolate and repair issues, validate repairs, and document results for payment and historical tracking.
- Valid Driver’s License: Ensure you have a valid motor vehicle driver’s license to meet the job requirements.
