TO QUALIFY TO JOIN OUR SENIOR SCHOOL TEAM AS A MATHEMATICS TEACHER YOU WOULD:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience teaching Senior School Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy (Grades 8 to 12) in a similar school environment to St John’s D.S.G., preferably with IEB experience and conversant in IEB SAGS and CAPS.
  • Have a Bachelor of Education, or a similar 4-year Senior / FET qualification in Mathematics, with PGCE.
  • The ability to teach Further Studies Maths (advantageous).

  • Have excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.
