- Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in Java and other object-oriented languages.
- Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in microservices, container, and distributed cluster-compute architectures.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers

Build the systems that optimize how EC2 matches requests for Instances with the underlying compute capacity. EC2 Placement is seeking talented engineers to build the online and offline optimization systems for compute workload scheduling, and the customer capabilities to better manage those workloads.
