The QA Inspector will assist the Construction Manager with daily tasks required for QA inspection, remediations and documentation.
Primary Position Duties:- Performs Quality Assurance inspections of completed FTTH plant in a timely manner.
- Documents all issues with work quality.
- Works with Construction Manager to upload QA forms and lists of discrepancies to document archive software.
- Communicates all issues effectively and in a timely manner.
- Performs re-inspection of any discrepancies discovered in initial inspection.
- Works with Construction Manager to ensure that all team members understand and follow company construction specifications.
- Responds to member’s concerns when necessary.
- Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
- Know, understand and follow company policies.
- Perform other duties as requested.

Education or Skills:- 6 months – 1 year of experience in Construction/Fiber Services or Related Field.
- High School Diploma required.
- Knowledge of standard aerial and underground fiber plant specifications and standards.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees and customers in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.
- Ability to use the following hand tools: electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers.
- Ability to walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment, including gaffs, ladders, and fully loaded tool belts.
- Ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment (such as gaffs, safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of that equipment.
- Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices.
- Ability to carry, climb and operate extension ladder, (approx. 32 ft. high and 90 pounds).
- Ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wires.
- Ability to operate appropriate computer.

- Train and assist operators to carry out their quality control functions and ensure their compliance to meet the quality goals

The Quality Control Inspector in the Plastic Injection Moulding Department is responsible for inspecting products, materials, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with industry specifications. Responsibilities:
Product Inspection:
- Perform regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify they meet established quality standards.
- Monitor and document injection moulding processes to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications.
- Identify defects or deviations from specifications, document findings, and report to the Quality Control Team Leader.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including product samples and any non-conformance findings.
- Conduct and document standard tests, such as dimensional checks, visual inspections, and functional tests, using precision measuring equipment (e.g., gauges).
- Provide feedback on potential areas for improvement to production teams and support corrective action implementation.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement solutions.
- Assist in training production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations during inspections and handling of materials.

Keeps Gaming Floor Manager informed of information relevant to the games
Provides audible and precise game commentary
Communicates equipment defects
Validates pay-outs
Accurately tracks guests play on Casino system
Identifies and escalates cheating and suspicious activities
Controls discretionary/ complimentary spend
Float management
Opening and closing of tables
Communicates any special guest requirements or events to other relevant operating departments
Provides feedback and reports back to management on the performance and challenges on the tables floor
People Supervision
Supervises employees to ensure that staff uniform, hygiene and appearance is maintained
Conducts performance contracting, reviews and development
Identifies performance gaps
Conduct coaching and on job training
Identifies and addresses misconduct issues
Keeps records of coaching discussions
Informs department / staff of information required to perform the duties and tables floor operation effectively
Communicates department's objectives, standards and operating procedures to internal and external service providers as per SLA
Delivered Customer Experience
Monitor service standards and staff: to ensure all guests are treated with courtesy and respect at all times
Shift handover ensures that staff can provide customers with relevant service
Interact and be present on the floor during service to understand and assist clients with requests, special requirements, recommendations, concerns, resolution of complaints, etc.
Report on any issues experienced and solutions executed
Education
Grade 12 or equivalent national qualification in gaming operations
An additional supervisory qualification is preferred
Experience
1 year experience as a Tables dealer or previous Supervisory experience preferably obtained in the gaming industry
Work conditions and special requirements
Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
Work in a smoking environment
Physical mobility to move around as per job requirements (including with the use of aids)
Certifications/Accreditation/Registration/Licenses
Meet the requirements for a gaming license and FICA
