Key Performance Areas:
Quality Control:
- Establish and manage Critical Control Points in the Process

- Analyse Supplier Performance (Product Quality, Special Status, etc.) and make recommendations

Information Management and Direction Focusing:
- Collate and analyse company data and management reports
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP):
- Review Quality Risks of APQP activities
- Ensure compliance with process and Customer Specifications

Continuous Improvement:

Functiebeschrijving
Als Quality Specialist ben je zowel voor onze brouwerij in Dommelen als in Arcen mede verantwoordelijk voor de implementatie, borging en opvolging van de kwaliteitsprocedures en -vereisten. Je bent de drijvende kracht voor het audit- en continue verbeteringsproces, met speciale aandacht voor hygiëne en voedselveiligheid. Dit alles in nauwe samenwerking met de diverse afdelingen en de gecentraliseerde diensten. Je werkzaamheden bestaan o.a. uit
- De implementatie en opvolging van interne en externe kwaliteitsaudits en het opstellen van actieplannen
- Coördinatie van verbetering van de kwaliteitsprocessen en opvolging van deze projecten ter ondersteuning en verbetering van de KPIs
- In stand houden en verbeteren van de quality management systemen (HACCP, FCA, VPO) en volgen van de CCP's en voedselveiligheid
- Een continue kritische analyse van de kwaliteitsresultaten van de diverse processen en verbeteringsacties
- Berekening en de rapportering van een aantal kwaliteitsindexen + preventieve en correctieve acties hieromtrent
- Opvolging van de relevante wettelijke aspecten in verband met de kwaliteitsmanagementsystemen

Our client is seeking an experienced HOD of Quality/Quality Specialist/Quality Manager/Quality Engineer.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Quality or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of quality assurance/control experience in the relevant sector.
- Experience in both Process and Quality would be very advantageous.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, as well as quality requirements for external customers.
- Proven experience with implementing Quality Management Systems.
- Proficiency in advanced problem-solving techniques, such as 8-D, 5WHY, Fishbone diagrams, etc.
- Personal attributes include strong analytical ability, interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Experience or ability to start a Quality department from scratch and be hands-on with the implementation of all Quality processes/documentation/systems.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of delivered products with specified standards and quality requirements.
- Manage, oversee, and execute advanced product quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), control plans, and process flows.
- Develop, revise, and implement procedures, work instructions, and inspection protocols.
- Develop, revise, and implement the master samples register and oversee the calibration systems.
- Proactively build and maintain a high level of customer confidence.
- Lead the resolution of customer concerns and internal PPMs through problem-solving processes such as 8-D, 5WHY, Fishbone diagrams, etc.
- Coordinate and facilitate BEON submissions (initial sample inspection reports (ISIR), PPAP, request for material testing (RMT).
- Conduct audits of products, processes, and environmental management systems (EMS).
- Effectively manage the issuance, follow-up, and closure of corrective action requests (CARs).
- Monitor, track, and manage supplier performance (SPPM).
- Supervise, manage, and support containment actions, both internal and third-party.
- Coordinate and facilitate reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Monitor and track company targets and objectives through key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct first-off checks in production areas.
- Verify daily weld analysis tests and liaise with the lab for measuring reports, taking necessary actions for out-of-spec conditions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and understanding engineering drawings.
- Conduct statistical process control (SPC) monitoring.
