Our client is seeking an experienced HOD of Quality/Quality Specialist/Quality Manager/Quality Engineer.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Quality or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of quality assurance/control experience in the relevant sector.
- Experience in both Process and Quality would be very advantageous.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, as well as quality requirements for external customers.
- Proven experience with implementing Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of delivered products with specified standards and quality requirements.
- Manage, oversee, and execute advanced product quality planning (APQP) and production part approval process (PPAP), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), control plans, and process flows.
- Develop, revise, and implement procedures, work instructions, and inspection protocols.
- Develop, revise, and implement the master samples register and oversee the calibration systems.
- Proactively build and maintain a high level of customer confidence.
- Lead the resolution of customer concerns and internal PPMs through problem-solving processes such as 8-D, 5WHY, Fishbone diagrams, etc.
- Coordinate and facilitate BEON submissions (initial sample inspection reports (ISIR), PPAP, request for material testing (RMT).
- Conduct audits of products, processes, and environmental management systems (EMS).
- Effectively manage the issuance, follow-up, and closure of corrective action requests (CARs).
- Monitor, track, and manage supplier performance (SPPM).
- Supervise, manage, and support containment actions, both internal and third-party.
- Coordinate and facilitate reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Monitor and track company targets and objectives through key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct first-off checks in production areas.
- Verify daily weld analysis tests and liaise with the lab for measuring reports, taking necessary actions for out-of-spec conditions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting and understanding engineering drawings.
- Conduct statistical process control (SPC) monitoring.

Key Accountabilities
