NACOSA is looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources ( HR) Officer to provide comprehensive human resources services to all staff and the HR team, ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labour legislation, while creating a welcoming and positive employee experience. The successful candidate will support all areas of the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and compliance.

The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resource Officer will include, but not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to staff and management on policies, procedures, and HR-related queries
- Administer HR documentation, contracts, leave, and employee records in compliance with organisational policies and labour legislation
- Support recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update the HRIS system regularly.
- Assist in employee relations matters by providing advice, documenting concerns, and supporting resolutions.
- Support performance management processes and staff development initiatives.
- Assist with the submission of WSP and ATR reports and ensure compliance with SETA requirements.
- HR Represent on the EE/SDF Committee.
- Support employee engagement and wellness programmes.
- Conduct exit interviews, gather all exit documentation, and submit relevant information to payroll promptly.
- Respond to general HR queries professionally and in a timely manner.
- Assist with ad-hoc HR administrative tasks as required.
- Promote a healthy and supportive culture among management and staff in line with NACOSA values.
