Job Description

The Finance Manager, reporting directly to our Global Finance Head, will be responsible for leading and overseeing all financial operations of DECCO’s South Africa. The mission of the role is to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with local and corporate regulations, and to provide strategic financial insights that support business growth and operational efficiency in South Africa region.

Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, treasury, cash flow, and banking.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with corporate and statutory requirements.
Monitor financial performance and prepare variance analyses against budget and forecasts.
Manage and control working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the annual budget process and periodic reforecasting exercises.
Provide financial projections, scenario analyses, and business insights to support management decision-making.
Partner with operational and commercial teams to ensure alignment between financial planning and business strategy.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with local tax, audit, and financial regulations in South Africa.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.
Implement and maintain strong internal controls, aligned with DECCO’s global finance policies.

Business Partnering

Act as a trusted advisor to the Country Manager and leadership team by providing financial guidance to support business initiatives.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and risk management.
Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to ensure consistency and alignment across entities.

Team work & Development

Work together with Finance Global Head and regional Finance Managers in order to mantain continuous improvement and professional growth.
Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance within the finance function
