The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning, implementing, and managing the R&D trial program for designated crops and products of the portfolio in line with product strategies and project scopes, as agreed with the relevant local and global Product Managers.
  • Coordinating, managing, and liaising with CROs for the timely execution of projects in accordance with timelines and budgets, ensuring accuracy of implementation and data generation, as well as concurrent report generation and reporting.
  • Analyzing trial results (via ARM) and drafting summaries to demonstrate trial objectives and propose amendments for further development work, ensuring that project objectives are achieved. On completing projects, contributing to highly accurate, comprehensive yet concise registration dossiers to demonstrate that efficacy, selectivity, and residue data comply with regulations and meet claims in support of intended commercial use.
  • Participating in local, regional, and global portfolio meetings by providing accurate updates on technical trial results as well as sharing technical expertise to ensure that product development remains relevant to market needs while ensuring product positioning is optimal within the portfolio and global trends.
  • Maintaining accurate updates to project management, budget tracking, and regulatory tracking platforms to maintain data integrity and transparency.
  • Liaising with and participating in industry body organisation committees, forums, and/or meetings to gain information and contacts on industry trends and knowledge transfer that may have strategic importance to the role and company.
  • Regularly visiting trial sites to ensure trial progress is going according to plan and set timelines.
  • Being accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources; responsible for performance evaluations, pay reviews, and hire/fire decisions; accountable for business functional or operational areas, processes, or programs.

Role Purpose:

The Junior Product Manager supports the product management team in the development, launch, and lifecycle management of products.   • Keep abreast of the development of new technologies, trends and products, ensuring successful and timeous roll out
  • Assist the editorial teams with operational requirements on an ad-hoc basis
  • Manage existing and new products introduced into the Publishing stable
  • Troubleshoot product bugs and queries logged with the product team
  • Engage the product team in assisting with the roll-out of new products and features across the 24.com product suite
  • Using your commercial acumen, suggest product enhancements to realise market opportunities
  • Articulate product strategies in support of business objectives

What should you have?

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 5+ years of product management experience of which include 4 years in a mobile/digital environment
  • Obsession with creating delightful user experiences
  • Data and research driven, analytical approach to features and changes
  • Proven track record of delivering business value
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proficiency to manage a diverse workload and assign priorities to tasks

About the Position:

Netstock is recruiting a versatile and highly motivated Product Manager. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in product management, who thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced setting.

As a key member of our team, you’ll work closely with our CTO and our VP of Product Management to shape the product roadmap, ensure alignment with customer needs, and drive product lifecycle from ideation to execution. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships across teams, a willingness to bring their whole self to work, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs

Customer-Centric Development: Engage with SMB customers to deeply understand their supply chain and inventory optimization challenges and translate insights into product features

Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to launch and iteration

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure seamless product development and go-to-market execution

Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to measure product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform decision-making

Competitive Intelligence: Identify primary competitors and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses to provide actionable insights that support sales strategies and enhance market positioning

Qualifications & Experience:

2-4 years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS environment. Previous sales experience is a strong plus.

Ability to work effectively with technical teams and understand the nuances of SaaS product development

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

Product marketing experience

Familiarity with supply chain solutions or SMB-focused products is highly desirable
