We're looking for a BI Analyst–Developer who thrives at the intersection of business and data. This is a dual-role position where you will support business stakeholders day-to-day and also design and build scalable Power BI reporting solutions that drive insight and decision-making.

You’ll be embedded into specific business areas (e.g., sales, servicing, retetions) on a rotating basis to:

• Assist with ad-hoc data questions
• Troubleshoot report issues
• Translate business requirements into clear BI solutions
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dataflows

You’ll work as part of a growing BI team that is transforming a legacy Excel-based reporting setup into a scalable, governed Power BI environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for business users in your assigned department
• Answer ad-hoc data queries, support decision-makers, and guide users on interpreting reports
• Work closely with stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements
• Proactively identify reporting gaps or improvement opportunities understand needs and translate into reporting solutions
• Facilitate monthly reporting processes that rely on data (commissions, management reporting and monthly analysis)

Business Support

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business needs
• Build dataflows and transform data using Power Query (M) and DAX
• Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and follows BI governance standards
• Help migrate existing Excel-based reports into automated, scalable Power BI assets
• Participate in peer reviews and team-based development work

Technical Must-Haves

• 2+ years’ experience with Power BI development
• Strong Power Query (M) and DAX skills

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive key business decisions. Using your expertise in data modelling, dashboard and report development, and integration with databases and APIs, you will create intuitive visualizations and reports that empower stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, deploying, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and reports.
• Creating and optimizing data models to support reporting and visualization needs.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Working with data engineers to integrate data from various sources into the business intelligence data models.
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality in all reporting outputs.
• Automating data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes where feasible.
• Analysis of data from various sources to ensure that the business acts proactively on the information at its disposal.
• Continually searching for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyses data that is relevant to the company’s business model.
• Debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting current solutions.

• Undergraduate degree with majors in Information Systems / Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering, Finance or similar. Alternatively, at least 3 years' work experience in a business intelligence / engineering role will be considered. A relevant post-graduate degree will be a strong plus.
• 3+ years’ experience in business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and database querying using SQL.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports and visualizations for business insights.
• Ability to gather and translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing performance in business intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis.

• Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices.
• Experience with API integrations for dynamic data updates in business intelligence tools.
• Relevant certifications in business intelligence tools or platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power BI Professional).
• Background in financial or operational reporting.
• Experience with streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka) for real-time data integration and analytics.
