Our client, a financial services company based in Cape Town, is seeking a SQL Database Administrator with cloud experience to join their dynamic team. This is a remote opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years' experience in managing MS SQL Server solutions, as well as 1-2 years' AWS experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3-4 years' experience in managing MS SQL Server solutions
- 1-2 years' experience with AWS
- Experience in database design, implementation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based systems and solutions.
