We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Content Manager. As a Content Manager you’ll oversee the planning and implementation of the content strategy and execution for Bash across all customer touchpoints, online and in-store. With a deep understanding of the Bash customer, you’ll translate business goals and shopper insights into compelling, conversion-driving content across web, social, email, app, and in-store tech devices. WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Translate commercial goals, trade priorities, and customer insights into clear content strategies tailored to the omni-channel shopper.
  • Define seasonal and trade-driven content priorities across departments, working closely with buying, VM, CRM, and brand partners.
  • Manage and activate tactical trade support to reach revenue targets, with agility to pivot content plans in response to trade performance.
  • Collaborate with the data, analytics, and customer teams to refine strategic focus areas and validate content decisions.

  • Partner with trade and product teams to identify key focus products, local trends, and promotional moments to amplify through content.
  • React quickly to sales and engagement data by activating timely, agile content solutions that support trade performance and customer interest.
  • Track campaign and content performance, reporting on key metrics and generating insights to improve future content planning and output.
  • Continuously test, learn, and optimise content using behavioural data, engagement insights, A/B testing, and feedback loops.
    Identify gaps and opportunities in current content mix to drive innovation, increase engagement, and improve conversion across touchpoints.

Operational Leadership

  • Manage one direct report, providing mentorship and guidance to support their development and delivery.
  • Partner with the Creative Operations Manager and Producer to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure content is delivered on time and within budget.
WHAT YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Fashion Marketing, or similar creative/commerce-related disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience in content strategy and digital content creation, preferably in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle e-commerce.
  • 1+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Experience working within an omni-channel or retail environment is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of social media, email marketing, web content, and retail content formats.

This is an independent role where the candidate needs to demonstrate great abilities to drive the social media and digital marketing requirements of the business. The individual will proactively come up with ideas and suggestions on how social media can contribute to driving more revenue to our hotels. The candidate will serve the needs of the business, our guests, and colleagues by leading a well-documented digital role within the Sales & Marketing Department for the Minor Hotels Africa Regional Office. They will aim to achieve the results set by the Regional Marketing & Communications Manager and the Regional DOSM, contributing to marketing and sales achievements.

Social Media Content Strategy
  • Oversee and review the execution of content calendars, community management, and publishing.
  • Support properties in planning seasonal and campaign-based content aligned with global marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate regional social campaigns and influencer collaborations where necessary.
  • Assist hotels in sourcing and arranging social media content photoshoots, ensuring content relevance.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions.
  • Stay ahead of social and content trends (e.g., Reels, audio aesthetics) and test new formats or ideas that align with the brand's tone.
Strategic Social and Paid Content Planning

Align ongoing strategy with both global initiatives and regional consumer behavior.

TripAdvisor and OTAs

Monitor and update content across these platforms.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Digital Marketing / Social Media is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in social media marketing, preferably in hospitality or multi-property environments. Previous experience in the hospitality/tourism sector is advantageous.
  • Mature and excellent communication and analytical skills required.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Attention to detail even in a high-paced working environment.
  • Experience using Meta Business Manager.
  • Proven experience leading or guiding teams with strong communication and mentorship skills.

About the Role

In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning, creation, optimisation, and distribution of digital content across multiple B2B channels. You’ll ensure that every piece of content — from thought leadership to campaign assets — is targeted to Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and aligned to account-based marketing (ABM) strategies. Your goal: deliver content that not only informs but converts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with global marketing objectives and regional growth targets
  • Create and oversee production of high-quality digital content, including articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, infographics, and email campaigns
  • Work closely with performance marketing teams to ensure content drives measurable results across paid, organic, and owned channels
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement, Research, and Commercial teams to produce targeted ABM assets and industry-specific insights
  • Ensure all content meets brand, tone, SEO, and compliance standards, including data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR)
  • Analyse performance metrics and continuously optimise content for engagement and lead conversion
