Duties & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a skilled Aeronautical Engineer with extensive experience in the defense industry. The candidate we are looking for will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and testing of advanced aircraft and aerospace systems. Notably, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and deliver next-generation solutions that meet the rigorous demands of defense applications.
- Lead and contribute to the design, analysis, and optimization of aircraft structures, systems, and components.
- Conduct thorough performance assessments and simulations to ensure compliance with stringent defence industry standards and requirements.
- Utilize advanced engineering tools and methodologies to support the development of cutting-edge technologies and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, and manufacturing to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept development to production and sustainment.
- Participate in design reviews, testing activities, and certification processes to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of aerospace systems.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to inform engineering decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Advanced Degree preferred.
- Proven experience (0-3 years) in aeronautical engineering with a focus on defence applications.
- Strong background in aircraft design, analysis, and optimization, with proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Demonstrated expertise in structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., MIL-STD, FAR, DO-178C).
- Experience with systems engineering processes and tools (e.g., requirements management, configuration management).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
