The main duties to be performed by the successful candidate will be:
• Structuring the system engineering process and formulation of a system engineering plan appropriate
to rocket and missile systems.
• Leading a team of highly qualified technical specialists.
• Identification of system requirements and technical risks.
• Functional decomposition and description of interfaces between functions and system elements.
• Allocation of requirements to system elements and their interfaces.
• Synthesis of technical solution concepts.
• Conduction of trade-off studies.
• Formulation of verification and validation requirements.
• Conduction of Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analyses.
• Conduction of requirement and design reviews.
• Creation and maintenance of a systems engineering database and documentation.
Execution of the duties and responsibilities pertaining to the position demands the following experience, skills and knowledge:
BSc. in Engineering, preferably a postgraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
At least 5 years’ experience in an aerospace engineering environment or similar.
A drive to achieve high professional standards.
Knowledge of system engineering practice and the ability to tailor international standards to suite the project scope.
Willingness to master and apply a modern systems engineering software platform.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to time manage and work on multiple systems and subsystems simultaneously.
The ability to work in a team.
