Thanks to our great work, we are also growing and we are looking for a dedicated Website Developer to join our Marketing & Fulfillment Teams.

ROLE

We are looking for a high-performing Website Developer to help plan, take strategic action and drive results for both the fulfillment and marketing teams. As Website Developer, you will be leading the development of new funnels, conversion rate optimization (CRO) of existing campaigns, managing new website projects and optimizing existing performance of websites for both clients and our agency. You will understand core digital development principles like digital infrastructure, web design, user engagement and user experience (UX).

The Website Developer will be aware of developing web trends; knowing how to apply new technologies that can be both innovative and achieve great results. They must have a fundamental understanding of HTML, Wordpress, and JSP.

To be successful in this role, you should be highly creative, analytical, proactive, show an ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and communicate effectively!

You must be obsessed with growth: personal and professional. You will be joining a team of A-Players with extremely high standards of personal and professional development.

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of overall progressive experience in Web Design, Web Development and Website Creation, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Website Projects in Wordpress
A relevant degree or diploma in a related field.
Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
Good understanding of content management systems.
Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
Creative and open to new ideas.
Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to our Operations Manager in this role will be pivotal in driving growth of results for our clients and marketing teams
Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
Testing and improving the design of client websites and agency landing pages / funnels.
Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
Working with different content management systems.
Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
Updating functional components of websites at the request of our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) team
Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
Designing sample pages including colours and fonts.
Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure to VP of Marketing for approval.
Periodic and regular quality assurance checks on websites and funnels to ensure they are operating at peak performance
Analyzing heat maps and analytics to study, interpret and act on unfavourable trends in website traffic.

Compensation:

Compensation for this role will be dependent on experience
Compensation will be provided on a monthly basis

Required skills and experience

Demonstrable experience of work on modern web applications
Experience with TypeScript
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Awareness of SEO best practice
Consideration of accessibility in all aspects of your work
A strong understanding of web performance in complex user interfaces
Ability to interact with UX, designers and server-side developers
Curiosity about technology and a thirst to learn
Based in EMEA timezones (Europe, the Middle East and Africa)
University degree or equivalent education

Useful experience if you have it

Familiarity with Linux desktop technologies
Server-side languages, such as Python or NodeJS
Experience working on a large scale React (with TypeScript) project
A history of open source contributions

You’ll participate in and contribute to our living style guide, Vanilla Framework.
Work closely with UX designers and visual designers to implement exemplary user experiences.
