Our client is looking for an individual to join their growing IT team as an UX/UI Design Lead to Lead the design of user interface and the visual and user-experience elements of digital products. Applying an advanced level of expertise, guide stakeholders and team members in the practice of product design and lead the translation of high-level requirements into interactive designs
Responsibilities:
Design and Conceptualisation
- Lead a collaborative digital product/service design process by gathering input across all product/service portfolios to define a design system that is viable and scalable, and which strengthens the brand. Lead a cross-portfolio, multidisciplinary team that contributes to the evolution of the system.
Customer Experience Mapping:
- Lead implementation and performance of techniques such as voice of the customer initiatives, journey mapping, and qualitative touchpoint analysis to identify customer pain points, challenges, and hurdles; advise on approaches to eliminate negative experiences and enhance customer interactions.
Internal Client Relationship Management:
- Manage relationships with internal clients and act as a business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and managing the deployment of appropriate internal and/or external resources to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
Product and Solution Development:
- Is responsible for managing the definition, development and delivery of a significant product or service within the product development and engineering program, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
Improvement / Innovation:
- Identify shortcomings in existing business practices, then suggest and implement improvements while developing and delivering projects or a work stream within the organisation’s change management program. Involves working with guidance from senior colleagues.
Personal Capability Building:
- Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team and beyond in the function. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, external regulation, and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
Building Capability:
- Work within existing development framework to build own capabilities and those of direct reports. Provide specialised training or coaching to others throughout the organisation in area of expertise.
Recommendations:
- Recommend changes to policies, processes, standards and practices that would improve operational support.

- Lead the design and execution of customer research projects by collecting and analysing customer and market data to develop an understanding of customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations.

As Staff Product Designer, Design System you’ll lead a newly-formed, cross-functional squad dedicated to evolving, implementing and scaling our design system, Norma. You will be responsible for developing the tools, components, documentation, materials and ways of working that enable designers and engineers to create our world-class experiences - and will be required to advocate and collaborate with product designers, engineers, product managers and stakeholders worldwide to help drive adoption our design system.
What You Bring
- An individual contributor designer who has exemplary experience designing, implementing and evolving a maturing design system - including the tooling, documentation and strategies required to scale effectively.
- An impressive portfolio of both product design and design systems work, including evidence that showcases both an ability to think in scalable systems, and a solid understanding of key visual and interaction design fundamentals.
- You champion the importance of consistency and the impact of building things systematically, but also understand when/where it is necessary to flex or evolve a design system.
- Masterful communication skills that help you build strong narratives around your design work, provide direction and guidance to others, as well as collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders - with fluent written and spoken English.

The base salary range may be subject to change.

The annual salary range for this full-time position is
$71,700—$201,700 USD

IntroductionHesto Harnesses is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate to join the Engineering Department.
Responsibilities- Support customer interface for program assumption/technical issues.
- Evaluate and manage design changes.
- Analyse production drawing and prepare product specifications for implementation into production.
- Prepare implementation of new models, face-lifts & ECI projects from concept phase to production start.
- Investigate localization; VAVE and standardisation.
- Conduct design reviews with the Design Team.
- Investigate new components.
- Support engineering data processing (i.e. 2D drawing) for new business; facelift; engineering change instructions or request for quotes.
- National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering (Essential).
- B. Tech in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering (Advantageous).
- Project Management Diploma (Advantageous).
- 3 to 5 years product development experience in the automotive environment (Essential).
- 2 years’ experience in an automotive industry (Desirable).
- 1 year experience in a wiring harness environment (Desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
