Job Role
The successful candidate will be providing technical and diagnostic assistance within the service department as per customer requirements. He will be responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of Port machinery and forklift equipment on-site and off-site.

• Experience with servicing and repairing of Port machinery is essential.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
• Comprehensive understanding of auto electrical systems
• Effective prioritization and multitasking: Shows a strong sense of urgency, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Communicate with Managers, Call Centre, and Customer
• Site and of-site maintenance of IC and Electrical Range
• Field Service technician experience.
• Strong work ethic: Demonstrates honesty, reliability, hard work, dedication, and takes pride in their work.
• Housekeeping, clean-up of all maintenance areas/work areas daily.

Qualifications and Competencies Required:
• Must have matric and a trade test.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Heavy lift Equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems will be an advantage.
• Must be able to communicate with customers at all levels.
• Must adhere to all SHE requirements.
• Must have a driver’s licence.

We are recruiting for a Desktop Support Technician.

1. Provide general IT support to all company users;
2. Attend to LAN, WAN and Mobile devices calls;
3. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors;

23. Monitoring and Management of APN (Access Point Names);
24. Monitoring and Management of MDM (Mobile Device Management).

1. Deep skills and experience in mobile and desktop support of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows) and Microsoft applications (Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer, WSUS, etc);
2. Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving technical issues;
3. Knowledge of HP/Cisco switches and routers;
4. Certifications;
5. Deep knowledge and understanding of video conferencing solutions, including both physical and online and virtual based solutions like Skype for Business, MS Teams and Zoom;

Additionally, this position initiates the escalation process for unresolved customer problems. Technical Support Representatives performing at this level will be required to utilize skills from training, education, experience, or certifications to fulfill their daily responsibilities. This position will also assist with account related issues, including ID/password assistance, billing/invoice support, and other general account related services. Representatives with advanced education, experience or certifications will be expected to share their skills and knowledge into the department to continually improve the overall knowledge of the staff. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
