  • Minimum 3+ years of digital design experience (agency, freelance, or in-house)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web, UI/UX, or product design work (please include a link)
  • Proficient with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator; After Effects a plus)
  • Solid understanding of UX best practices, accessibility, and responsive design
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable working from a creative brief or building your own concepts
  • Strong communicator with the ability to articulate design decisions to team and clients
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely and asynchronously

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Internal Designer to join our Ecommerce and Marketing team. This role will focus on designing engaging, on-brand digital content to support ecommerce growth and customer education. The designer will work closely with marketing, ecommerce, and CRM teams to create visually compelling assets that bring campaigns and launches to life. The ideal candidate will balance creative storytelling that inspires and educates customers with commercially driven design that highlights offers, drives sales, and delivers measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Email Marketing: Design promotional mailers and newsletters to drive ecommerce sales, highlight new product launches, and educate customers about product benefits.
  • Social Media: Create Instagram adverts, stories, reels covers, and other social-first creative that resonates with our audience and supports campaign objectives.
  • Digital Advertising: Develop online banners, paid media visuals, and display creatives aligned with brand guidelines and performance goals.
  • Content Creation: Conceptualize and produce fun, engaging digital content (animations, GIFs, interactive visuals) to enhance customer engagement or to drive sales.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative outputs align with Clarins' brand identity, tone, and premium positioning.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the marketing and ecommerce teams to understand campaign goals, product priorities, and timelines.
  • Innovation: Stay on top of digital design trends, competitor activity, and new formats to keep our creative fresh and inspiring.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in digital design, preferably within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital and social media design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe photoshop, Figma or similat.
  • Experience with email design platforms (Adobe Campaign, Badsender or similar).
  • Familiarity with designing for paid social and performance marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for detail, typography, and layout.
  • Passion for beauty, skincare, and the Clarins brand is a plus
