Job Description
- Develop and implement execution plans to meet contractual requirements.
- Develop and implement resource plans to meet project requirements.
- Develop project procurement strategy and implement to ensure on time delivery of equipment and materials.
- Manage contractual administrative requirements like notices, letters, claims, etc.
- Manage budgets, compile cost reports, and monitor project costs.
- Ensure progress claims are submitted in line with payment milestone schedules.
- Handle variations, payments, and special evaluations.
- Oversee complete project lifecycle through Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
- Manage subcontractors, including contractual, schedule and overall performance.
- Ensure project is executed to the highest level of quality standards by planning, mobilizing and managing adequate resources.
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are met and all risks are identified, monitored and managed.
Qualifications
- An Engineering or Project Management Degree/Diploma
Skills
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a management role within the Renewable Energy Sector (Solar PV)
- Solid contractual and commercial background
- Good knowledge of technical aspects of a PV facility
- Computer literate (MS Office) with knowledge of MS Project and Prima Vera
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Client-centric with excellent relationship-building skills
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
